La Manga has a number of shops from tourist shops to high class boutiques. The area is famous for good shoes and in particular Salvador Artesano who own six shops in La Manga. The shoes are made locally and are very good value for money. |
 | About a 20 minute drive away from La Manga is the Dos Mares shopping centre, located on the outskirts of San Pedro del Pinatar. Dos Mares has around 60 shops and restaurants over 2 floors including a large Eroski supermarket and cinema. Shops include Woman's Secret, Springfield, Jack and Jones, Pull and Bear, Inside and Peter Murray. The food court offers a wide variety of choice including Spanish restaurants, Burger King, Mc Donald's and Haagen Dazs. There is a large bowling alley in the shopping complex also.

The main city of Cartagena is about 20 kilometres away. It has many shops and department stores such as Zara and El Corte Inglés. The town also has some new shopping centres like Parque Mediterranean with a large Carrefour supermarket, Toys R Us, electrical shops and a new big casino.

The markets of the Murcia region have everything from art to strawberries. They are bright, colourful and full of fresh local produce.The fields of the Murcia region also supply major supermarkets throughout Spain and also the UK . On Sunday, visit the large market 2-3 kilometres away at Cabo de Palos where you can spend an interesting couple of hours browsing the large number of stalls and variety of things on sale.
