As well as promoting apartment E12 (fifth floor) if your chosen dates are not available, we can book an apartment for you with one of our co-owners, who have; one, two and three bed apartments subject to availability.

We used the services of several agents to find properties and found Nu Life Spanish Dreams most helpful and it was they who held our hands through the whole operation.  We recommend them with no reservations.

Facilities
The holiday complex in the village of Playa Honda (Deep Beach), offers relaxation areas with palm trees in a landscaped garden, open air swimming pool with jacuzzi a island in the middle, heated indoor pool with sauna available in the cooler months, gymnasium and a safe play area for children.  Look for the key in the kitchen which gives access to the two Block E communal roof terraces. The apartment is close to La Manga Golf Courses & Sports Club; it is within easy walking distance of the local supermarket, green grocer, fish mongers, general stores, bars and restaurants for tapas, meals and sangria.  The beach has a cafe-bar open most of the year about 100m to the right and there is La Manga Camping about 300m to the left, which has a beach bar and restaurant open all year round; there is a Go-Karting track about 1.5km away and there are tennis and basketball courts locally.  We have two adult size bicycles in the apartment, which are available for your use, should you be so inclined.

Locally
There are large supermarkets within a five minute drive at Cabo de Palos; Los Belones village is a short drive away and offers shops, bars and good restaurants to suit every pocket, on Tuesdays the small market is in the church square. Cabo de Palos, about 4km away is a fishing village which becomes a place for night life into the small hours; there is also a large market on Sundays selling everything from local produce to flea market items.  The local bus service between Catagena and La Manga, stops regularly at the edge of the village on the service road, the main bus station is about 2km onto La Manga strip providing service to the rest of Spain.  The nearest train station is in Los Nietos about 6km away.  Horse riding is available close by, cycling is safe on the service roads and rugged in the hills (take plenty of water), walking can range from an easy stroll to a challenging scramble to suit your capabilities.

Car Hire & Airport Transfer
Hiring a car is the most convenient way to travel during your stay and it is relatively inexpensive taking into account the cost of airport transfers.  There are many rental firms and transfer/taxi companies from which to choose.  If you wish we can arrange a meet and great at the airport to deliver you to Verde Mar III and/or a welcome provisions pack at cost price.  The cost of transfers is currently 35 Euros each way for up to four people and 45 Euros for five or six people.
